- Darik Blare, who came to Alexandria only three nights past and died in the same night.
- Milson Nayark, a foreign nobleman. Had "traitor" symbol cut into his chest.
The Masks
- Branched off an existing Vardaman tradition to established a new cult
- Cult is growing rapidly due to influence of Leader
- Claim to have infiltrated the local V Temple
- Obsidian Masks are a trademark
- Claim to be doing Vardama's work, but it sounds more subversive. Look to evil gods.
- Uses subversion of Vardaman tradition (giving of masks to the dead). Look to subtle, evil gods.
- Capable of ordering cult members to commit suicide
- Core Leadership of 3? 1?
- Main Leader claims to be a Prophet of Vardama. Humanoid with magic abilities (invisibility).
The Disease
- Resembles more of a curse
- Noncontagious
- Seems incurable, so far
- Coughing; black phelgum? from lungs
- Being treated at the Soldier's Defense as best they can
- A high-level dispel check harms/pushes back the disease, though does not cure it completely
- Those that die of the disease come back as diseased spirits
- There is currently a stopgap potion made largely of salt which halts the progression of the plague!
The Vampire
- Was seen near a source of the plague-stuff
- Kidnapped Alba // No Escape
- Kidnapped Selia & Azog // Little One
- Kidnapped Mikilos // Winter Wonderland
