The Masks
- Branched off an existing Vardaman tradition to established a new cult
- Cult is growing rapidly due to influence of Leader
- Claim to have infiltrated the local V Temple

- Claim to be doing Vardama's work, but it sounds more subversive. Look to evil gods.
- Uses subversion of Vardaman tradition (giving of masks to the dead). Look to subtle, evil gods.

The Disease
- Resembles more of a curse

- A high-level dispel check harms/pushes back the disease, though does not cure it completely
- Those that die of the disease come back as diseased spirits
