A hazy, hot afternoon, there dosn't seem to be much townsfold about, as you recieve the job request from the Explorer's Guild. One of the local merchants has come with a rather urgent request. It would seem a few days ago, after recently purchasing some wholesale items, a merchant has sold a young noble woman some garb he would like retrieved. He was able to find out she left town only yesterday heading on a joyride to visit her fiance in one of the southern towns nearby. The man alleges she may be in danger, as the cloths bought apparently attrack rather large amounts and types of spiders. While he is attempting to dispose of these items, he was unable to reach her before she left and would rather not have her death on his hands.

Gregor peers. "That's pretty strange," he observes, having not yet grown cynical of the strangeness of Alexandria. "But hopefully we can intercept her in time. "A young noblewoman. Do we know which town she went to?"
Galidor loves the heat and doesn't seem to mind as they get to the town. "I hope so as well, hopefully they have not wrapped her up in their silken webs. I have not fought spiders before have you?" He asks. "One of the southern towns."
Gregor hahs "Yes, but which southern town? Or we will have to search thrm all." To the guy hiring us, he asks, "What name should we ask for?"
Wring out his hat with a tense grip, a pot bellied merchant fumbles in replay to Gregor, "Ha-happy Valley.. but not sure which way she went.. left out the south gate.. hasn't had much use.." Rubbing a sweaty palm against the back of his neck, he lets out a deep breath before continueing nervously, "Ye should hurry?"
Gregor nods about Happy Valley. "Was this a human woman? Or a gnome?" To Galidor, he smirks, "A human should be easy to find in Happy Valley, at least." To the merchant, he says, "We shall ride as soon as we have what we'll need to find her when we arrive. Otherwise we'll get there and have to wait and see who's attacked by spiders."
Galidor smiles, "Sounds like a great place to go. Yes let's go we'll try to retrace her steps." He looks at the man and then looks to Gregor, "I've never been there why is it easy to pick out a human?" He asks as he looks back at the man, "Are you all right you seem very nervous?" "Hu-human." The man stutters in reply as his gaze goes from Gregor to Galidor as a worried frown begins to form. "I-is there anything else.. I can help with?" He continues in the same nervous manner.
Gregor says to Galidor, "He's nervous because he sold her something, and it'll be his fault if she's eaten by spiders," he remarks flatly. To the merchant, he says, "Don't worry, we'll ride out immediately."

Galidor nods a little bit, "Of course of course. We are all worried about it." He smiles, "All right let's go. Do you have horses for us? Most horses don't like me, so I hope you have some calm ones."
Gregor says to Galidor, "I have a horse, and he'll carry you, if you need. Though not easily, I fear."
"Err.. uh.." He replies towards Galidor, "Theres a couple ou-outside I-i payed for.. but don't know how calm they are?"
Galidor hmms, "I will have to make due then. Don't worry Gregor I can ride one of his horses." He says, 'Well let's be off before the poor girl's dress hatches." Gregor nods sagely to Galidor, "Then we ride!" And he dashes out.

Dodging aside the sudden blow, the large arachnid springs from its hideaway towards its attacker. Its fangs pouring venom, it lashes out in maddened vengeance at the intruder, it's fangs finding an easy perch.

Gregor dashes away from the spider, his boots churning up earth as he sprints away. Dropping the flail as he runs, he shouts to Galidor, "This is why I said to back off!" He has no idea how fast a spider can move, and he doesn't want to leave Galidor to get eaten while he's mounting. Though the mounting part goes well enough, he steps off and jumps, landing astride his horse with a whuff as he kicks his feet into the stirrups.
As its foe disengages, the large spider takes a moment before bolting after the one slining bolts at it. In a mad frenzy, it snaps visciously at the Sith-Makar, but to little affect, aside from slobering a bit of venom around.

Gregor knees his horse to back awat from the spider, so he's got enough room to charge. Aware he's left his partner in the lurch, he draws his horsebow as he rides away, and when he wheels around, he'll fire a shot from the bow before he grabs for his lance. More by luck than design, the arrow strikes one of the eight eyes, and there's a fercious chitter of complaint.

Galidor ughs as he's bitten and poisoned and he can't seem to shake the poison. He's feeling slow and heavy as he gets made and he grows his claws. He goes to slash at the spider but the poison courses through him causes his muscles to cramp and he misses.

Gregor acks as he sees the spider getting the better of his partner. "Hold on," he shouts, and he spurs his horse, Traveller, into action. Lowering his lance as he closes, he manages to skewer the spider before it can do more than it's already done. Slam, his lance impales the maddened spider, driving it away from Galidor and up on his lance a couple feet. Dropping the lance, and hopping from his horse, he rushes down to Galidor. "Hang on there, partner!" he cries out, and will ... well, he knows about snakebites ... maybe that will help a little?

Galidor waves his claw, "Don't worry about me go find the woman and make sure she's all right." He says as he goes to find himself a tree to sit next to and he slumps down at the poison gets the better of him.

Gregor looks at hia partner, face tight with worry, and he mumbles, "This is why I said to back down." But what's done is done. And, so, he'll go check the carriage out to see if the woman is inside, and/or alive?
As Gregor checks the carriage, a shriek echos from the nearby woods as a frantic girl run's back towards the road. Her form is wrapped in the wisps of newly torn webbing as if she had just run through a gauntlet of the material. Arms flailying wildly about as she swats at random bits, her voice falls into a low paniced sob.
Gregor smiles as best he can. He's a hobgoblin, so it might not be convincing, but he doesn't have 8 legs, so maybe that's enough. "Lady Tasso, I presume?" he asks as he rides out to meet her, and he'll swing her on behind him and ride back to Galidor. look gregor
At the sight of the hobgoblin, the young ladys body seems to give out as she collapses suddently backwards.

Gregor facepalms as he hops from his horse, stumbling as he gets his feet straight, and he'll heft the woman crosswise across his horse's withers. Mounting up, he'll ride back to where he left Galidor. Finding him out, also, he'll transfer /both/ burdens to Galidor's horse, and he'll lead it to Happy Valley as delicately as he can.
