Sandy Fails to Punch Someone

- Title: Sandy Fails to Punch Someone
- Emitter: Cryosanthia
- Characters: Cryosanthia, Rocky, Zeke, Sandy, Ronin, Toha
- Place: A07: Lower Alexandria Market District
- Time: Monday, May 25, 2020, 10:48 PM
- Summary: Zeke, Cryo and Rocky head to the Market District to get some dinner, and select a rooftop patio tea-shop. Zeke goes into the kitchen to have a discussion with the staff, and Cryo takes the opportunity to explain to Rocky that she and her cihuaa suffered the Fae Queen's hospitality and her mate is only starting to get better. That this is the best she's seen in a while, and she's concerned it is fragile. Zeke returns, having selected chips, salsa and a selection of fruit as his meal. Cryo explains what these are to Rocky and orders some herself. The three sith amongst themselves about themselves. Meanwhile, Sandy is below looking for someone to punch; it is definitely a day where someone needs to be punched and she is working out who that is. It is not Toha, who is making a delivery of tea sets to the cafe. While this is going on, a giantborn who has been sharpening his axe decides to make some comments to the sith-makar hissing it up at the nearby table. Comments that include the preferences of a bluescaled sith-makar woman. Zeke does not take this well, and while Cryo attempts to be diplomatic at first she eventally screams her frustration at Ronin, telling him he will get the fight he seems so determined to provoke. The war-golem, Toha, and the Warrior-Caste Rocky, are the proponents of peace to the Healer-Caste and Speaker-Caste sith. They settle, the giantborn leaves, and Sandy is _sure_ someone just narrowly missed a punching, or at least a good brooming because her fists were a-tingling but she couldn't find the soul in time.

Just west of the Northern Highbridge and east of the arena, commerce blooms. Noisy and bustling, most anything may be purchased here for a price. Vendors from all cultures sell their wares from exotically colored carts, and the smells of different nations and far-off city-states mix with local ones from Alexandria and its riverbanks.
For all its commerce, visitors are advised to keep hold of their purses. Even the merchants possess a certain, cunning look. Most are positioned at carts or stalls as opposed to a formal storefront, with trade here being mobile, and visiting from all parts of the world.
Though the quality of goods suffers here compared to Upper Alexandria, the options are more diverse. Too, the oversight of the Watch is slightly less, and during times events are held at the Arena, chaos abounds. After dark, the square becomes a hangout for bards and other entrepreneurs whose business is best conducted by night; the shadows at the edges of the square often contain furtive figures engaging in their own brand of business.

The lower marketplace has lots of dining options, ranging from a street urchin with rat-on-a-stick "guaranteed clean" to the private, upscale restaurants that have to be booked in advance and provide gainful employ for dismissive myrish maitre'ds.
The choice that the small group of sith have settled on is a tea shop which has an open-air patio on the roof, accessed by a stone stairway on the outside. It's also situated next to a bakery that has a lot of options which can be brought up with the tea. The patio has a good view over the open areas of the market and the buildings of a similar height, and isn't crowded. The climb up attracts only those planning to stay for a little while.
Rocky continues to peer around, still finding the city new and intresting. Indeed, humans in general are still pretty novel to the young sith, though he keeps an alert eye on... well pretty much everything, really. Being protective is his calling, and ned to keep an eye out to do that.
Zeke doesn't take a seat with the others. Instead he pauses by the table briefly to be sure that they have seats and then wanders off toward the kitchen area. "Thisss one will return in a moment or ssso." He's gone a few seconds later, talking with a few people and then disappearing into the kitchen itself.
A group of Sith? Well!
Sandy does glance that way as she's moving past, heading towards the Prestigous Moon. They do exist in numbers, after all, but it's still something that attracts attention.
Cryosanthia is being a doting nurse for Zeke while trying to keep the doting concealed, along with her lack of any real nursing skill. She's very attentive, very there at his side, while also striving not to crowd him. It's protective in a different way than Rocky, but she's still alert and observant although most of it is directed towards the bluescale. So, the crowds and composition of Alexandria is overlooked. She takes a seat then watches Zeke disappear into the kitchen. "Ok."
Rocky settles into place, shifting around to keep a view of the doorway while still able to see into the marketplace. Teh grey scale pokes absently at teh silverwear before nodding towards the kitchen. "He seems nice enough." <draconic>
Ronin ducked his head as he walks out of the patio, looking to the sith. He looks to the grey sith and he pulls his Axe off his back. It is a great axe so it is large but in his hands it looks like a regular axe. He sits down and pulls out a whetstone and begins to sharpen his axe blade, listening to the conversation, not understanding it.
Cryosanthia sits up at the sound of a blade being sharpened, glances over in the giantborn's direction, at his axe. She looks back at the sith across from her, "This one did not get a chance to ask Seldan how things went. He took my cihuaa on a hunting trip. He was tortured, we both were, it was eight weeks ago for me, less than two weeks for him. Last week he was... more frantic. I'm not sure what will upset him, but try not to upset him."
She sits back and fiddles with the things in front of her, re-arranging the knife and fork, folding and unfolding the napkin. 'I should get some water. We should get some water. Hello...' She waves at a server, making the universal symbol for 'ready to order'. Waving for the server to come over. <draconic>
Sandy stops in front of her shop. The Sith on the rooftop patio near enoiugh to her are visible, but she hasn't gone out of her way to interupt them. Snippet sof conversation reach her gigantic elf ears.
(All elf ears are gigantic. It's a fact.)
Toha's ears are decent sized, too, blame... well someone. After finishing with... whatever her task was, the Golem emerges from one of the gaps between buildings with a heavy leather pack loaded with Reos knows what slung over a shoulder, while a square of fishing net bundles together an array of teapots and even a kettle, dangling from her right hand. She moves toward the tea shop n a course that will take her past the Moon, and the proprietess thereof. She warrants the wave of Toha's free hand, accompanied by a casual, "Hey!" as she draws near, as she crowd up on the patio aren't in her direct line of awareness yet.
Rocky eyes the giantborn with idly curiousity. He didn't know humans came in that size. Chuffing softly, the grey scale nods to Cryo, slumping in place just a little. "I understand he's important to you. I will try to be nice." <draconic>
After a few long moments Zeke comes out. He comes with a server in tow bearing simple foods. Chips, salsa, cheese. Some fruit and vegetables in slices arranged neatly. Tea. He wags his tail at the sight of the other sith, and finds his seat. "This one hopess that you do not mind that this one chose the meal. You can order something else as well, but... this one will eat this." He nods and nods politely to the waitress who arranges the food and drink on the table. <draconic>
Cryosanthia grins, adjusting herself on her chair and nodding to Rocky. She smiles as Zeke brings out his plate of food. "Why would I mind the meal? It looks good."
She notes the lack of meat, doesn't remark on it. Although it prompts the whitescale to take off her left glove, then loop her hand through the air. The highlight scales along her arm glitter after which the ones around her eyes glow. She examines the back of her hand, just in case.
That done, she smiles up a the server, 'I would like the same as he is having too, and some blackberry tea please.' <draconic>
Toha's passing by does get Sandy's attention. She knows the golem, after all. Seems like everyone is in the mood for tea today! "Bloody tea," she grumbles. Then she opens the door. "Had enough to last a life time lately."
Toha's chin dips just a bit to alter the view of her otherwise immutable features though her grumbly words prompt a shrug granted by the sort of engineering even some artificers can't properly appreciate as she replies, "Might have the flavor up th'road, actually." Between steps and a cant of her head, she carries on, "Just returning some repairwork, though." and carries on toward the steps that lead toward the patio and the consumption above.
Rocky nods, eyeing the selection of foods before selecting a few tidbits. "Thank you. This One is still learning the foods of this land. Your experience in the matter is most welcome." <draconic>
"These are fruit slices. These, named "'chips'". They are root vegetables, fried. Also, kernal fruit vegetables, ground, fried. This, "'Salsa'", other fruits, chopped with vinegar. A sauce, dip this to this." Cryosanthia watches the kitchen, waiting for her order to appear so she can demonstrate. Her tail wiggles behind her. <draconic>
The blue-scaled sith nods his appreciation to his fellow sith, relaxing as the waitress puts the proper, requested tea in to steep before moving along. Zeke takes up a piece of fruit and eats it with a few delicate bites. "This one is curious, that this one has not met you before now. This one is glad to meet you now though." <draconic>
Toha carries on up the stairs, twisted some at the waist to keep the bag of pans away from banging against the wall. Counterproductive if they get dinged all up again, after all. She looks around as she crests the stairwell and lifts her free hand to wave at the Sith she knows with a casual, "Hey!" before turning into her bearing to move toward the kitchen.
Rocky falls still for several moments, regarding Zeke, before nodding. "This One was besides the Stream of the BoneMother. Halls of Waiting, This One believes it's called. This One told those of Charn they would harm none of teh Tribe so long as This One lived. They accepted. The Shamen of the DragonFather brought me back to life a few days ago." He rouses slightly as Toha passes, curious. Not something likely to see in the jungle... or the city, to be honest. <draconic>
Cryosanthia raises her hand to her throat, taking out the bag she keeps around her neck, under her armour. She squeezes it, there's the quiet sound of scales grinding against each other, "He was here, Zeke, one my lost friends. From the beginning."
She nods as Toha passes with her burden, giving a small wave in her direction. Noticing Rocky's curiosity, she adds, "That's someone I know, Toha, she helped out a lot in the sewers. Toha, this is Rocky here, and you know Zeke."
Introductions over, she starts on her slices of fruit and decides her tea has had enough time to steep. She fills her cup, breathes in the aroma, then takes a sip. "What did you do on the hunting trip Zeke?"
"This one is sorry to hear that you fell to the Charneth." Zeke's eyes darken at the mere thought, bowing his head slightly to the younger sith-makar. "Welcome back, these lands can well use someone of your heart to aid. As to your question cihuaa, this one spent most of this one's time lounging on the beach and catching fresh fish. It was good to be... elsewhere. Somewhere far from stone walls. Somewhere where there is no doubt of what was real and what was not." <draconic>
Toha hands over the bag with a bit of incidental rattle to one of the staff who step out to intercept her. A little hushed back and forth, an exchange of nods, and the construct turns back to the patronage in general in time, with her rather elfy ears, to catch the comments and so begins to step on over thattaway. Once there, With a, "Nice t'seeya Cryo," she lifts her hand again and her face turns toward either of the males as they're named as well in an overt show of notice and she gives a quick clap-clap of her fist against her breastplate, "Nice t'meetcha, Rocky! How ya doin' Zeke?" She cants her head a little with the tongue being spoken, but levels out quickly. It probably isn't her business, anyway.
Rocky shrugs. "This One would rather fall than fail. The situation was bad, but The People did what they could." He nods to Toha, returning the fist gesture. 'Peaccce unto your nessst. Thisss One isss pleassed to meet you assss well.' <draconic>
Cryosanthia sighs, sipping at the tea, "That sounds nice. Acedia told this one to do that. This one said that, yes? Why was Malik asking what you wanted so much, with place to stay?" Her cups is empty, she refills it and looks at the coloured liquid.
'Good to see you also Toha. This one is trying to come up with new clothing ideas. I'm not sure what I should wear. It could be anything and I can't think of a thing.' After one more glance at the back of her left hand, the whitescale puts her glove back on. She leans a little, so she can look over the patio and down at the street, watching people go about. "Any thoughts Zeke, on clothes for me? Oh, and you never did say, did you hurt your arm?" <draconic>
Zeke nods solemly to Rocky, clearly in agreement with the other man. "This one understands entirely. We do what we can to protect the innocent." He's looking at Cryosanthia when he says it, and there's that shared moment, one of pain taken, accepted on the behalf of someone who should be cared for. Zeke had done that for eighty years, and it was clear he had no regret on the matter. "This one knows little of clothing Cryosanthia, but no, this one did not get hurt. This one is merely relearning how to use the body that has gone so long neglected." He turns his green eyes on Toha. 'Thisss one apologizessss, it is rude to ssspeak in a language that another knowsss not, but Rocky is not very familiar with Tradessspeak and thisss one isss trying to accomidate him asss well." <draconic>
Toha offers the grey sith her hand to clasp, "Peace on yer nests, too." she replies with a fond tone in her voice. She turns her head toward Cryo as she inquires about clothing, but is forced to make another shrug, "'fraid I'm not a great mind t'tap on that one, Cry. Mebbe a nice fringed vest, with some pockets on the inside fer little tools, flint'n'steel, that sorta thing. Lots o'those back home." Zeke's apology puts her head a few degrees off camber and she waves it off with the other hand, "Don't sweat th'little stuff, Zeke. More comfortable in Yrch, myself. I's mostly just droppin' off some work an' waiting fer my pay. Can get outta yer hai-" she stops, "rrr... scales(?) if ya want."
Rocky eyes the offered hand a half moment, and shakes it with a firm grip. "Thisss One welcomessss you to ssstay. Have not ssspoken with a War Golem before. Issss much to learn."
Cryosanthia leans in towards Zeke when he looks at her, stretching her gloved hands out and placing them one on top of the other near him, "This one would not have made it without you. You are so strong. This one is glad we got you back." Her tail coils slowly behind her, she closes her eyes and breathes in scents. Zeke's, Rocky's, Toha, the patio's and whatever is wafting up from street level. 'It's weird, I thought we might forget everything when we left the tower again. I might not have minded.'
The whitescale grins at the golem, nodding at her sartoiral suggestions. 'Practical. I might want something fancy, elaborate and interesting. I'll think on it.' <draconic>
Ronin Finishes sharpening the great axe and he leans it against the table. The Axe was massive, and the giantborn simply looks to the sith. "Last Sith I saw was a blue scaled woman. Insisted with trying to breed with me. At the time I was a slave so maybe she just liked big men." He growls out as he scowls at them.
Zeke nods after Rocky speaks to emphasize his words. "You are welcome to ssstay." Briefly his green eyes flicker to Cryosanthia, his eyes lowering then at her words, his own tail curling around him. "Thisss one is glad to be back." There's a long moment of silence after Ronin's word in which Zeke simply /stares/ at him. "What?" The sith near him might well smell the boil of something close to warning wafting from the blue-scaled sith.
Toha's grip, likewise is firm, but worthy of a warrior, though she makes a point not to go to 'crushing'. It sends the wrong messages. "I'll explain where I can, Rocky." she offers. Cryo's elaboration on her requirements draws her overt attention once more and she utters a low, soft note before, "Sorry I can't help ya, there." She smells like various alloys, alchemically altered leather, a pretty strong presence of alchemical silver, etc. Her attention turns toward the big man at his words, "So... that would work?" she wonders in curiosity, turning to look at the Sith with canted head once the question's out, then back to the Jotun.
Rocky goes still for several moments, peering at Ronin. "Thisss One doesss not insssit on any breeding." He might be translating that wrong, but fairly confidant of what those words mean.
Cryo is very sensitive to Zeke's state currently, so the sudden shift in his posture and scents alarms her. She has no difficulty imagining why that comment might upset him, though she doesn't want to explain as that will make things worse. Something diplomatic then, easier imagined than said, especially as she's somewhat out of practice with anything except an indifferent fae monarch. She addresses Ronin, "This one would prefer that topic not be discussed. It upsets me." After which, she remains looking in his direction.
The whitescale ignores Toha's question for the moment, and decides to change the topic with a distraction. She stands up, the white nightshirt looking thing she's wearing transforms into layered wizard robes, bright white with pale blue highlights. It has one difference from the version she usually has, stylized blue flames are around the hem and cuffs. As she concentrates, the embroidered images flicker to new positions, giving the impression it's on fire, "What do you think?"
"Not in public anyway." The giantborn says with a smirk as he stands and studies the sith. He approaches them and studies them intently. "Is it true, your homeland is a jungle?" He asks curiously as he looks to the female then to the golem and then two males. He walks back over to his axe and picks it up, resting it on his shoulder.
Without even thinking about it, a low threatening growl edges out of Zeke's mouth, clearly aimed at the giantborn. Zeke's green eyes narrow on the man. There's a fine tension to his shoulders that says that he is ready for a fight. A tension that only grows when the man arms himself. "It issss." His voice is a low hiss, a warning tone as his previous word had been a warning. The scent of him is fading away into nothing dangerously.
The War Golem looks the table of Sith over, more reading posture than the ephemerals of scent, which are beyond her sampling. Hmm. She looks to the big man as the others make their disquiet known and she advises gently, "Perhaps dropping this subject would work." She turns to the Sith, canting her head with some surprise at Zeke's demeanor, then back to the big one, "This wouldn't be a good reason for a fight. Definately not the right place." <jotun>
Rocky adds nothing further to teh conversation, going quite still. One might resonable assume he'd become literally pretrified if one didn't know better.
Cryosanthia idly wonders if this is how kobolds feel. Granted the giantborn isn't that much taller than her, but who are taller are rarity in her experience. Also, that axe is huge. She's with her kin though, so she's not about to back down and her cihuaa's smells are making her extra protective. Her clothes switch from her fancy robes to skintight white leathers with her mail peeking out around her throat. She echoes Zeke, "Yesss, it isss."
She keeps her nose dipped and her lips close, no need to show too many teeth, "This one requestsss you return to your table. We have had bad times, are not ssseeking company." Her hands are open and empty, but the whitescale has gone from a tall casual standing posture to a ready crouch.
Ronin looks to the golem before turning his gaze back to the blue scaled sith. "Laws of this city states that one cannot attack without provacation. That to do so will have you become locked up. Either you want to die or be locked up makes no nevermind to me. Your posture indicates you expect me to attack you. I grew up in chains, so I have no desire to be locked up." He says calmly, sounding almost bored but his voice had a weird growl. He studies the white scaled sith with golden eyes and simply lowers his axe, slowly. "Calm your friend before I take offense." He orders softly. He then turns his back to them and begins walking to his table.
There is absolutely nothing in the giantborn's words that ease the tension in Zeke. The blue-scaled sith does not even make a flicker of movement to suggest that he might attack, but the man isn't wrong. He's ready to defend. The man's words are practically geared toward starting a fight, but Zeke is not one easily goaded into such things. Instead he takes a deep breath and growls low in his throat. Another warning. "Asss Cryosssanthia sssayss. We have no desssire for your company. Leave usss in peassce." He flashes his teeth just a little, glances toward Cryosanthia as the man tells her to 'calm' him.
Toha's hand moves surrepitously toward one of the pouches at her waist, wonder if she's going to do something expensive as lips move and sounds keep coming out. "That's enough. Let's everyone hold quiet, now, 'fore someone gets their head broke." the golem intones calmly, trying to make her voice as soothing as she can, "Please?" Words spoken, she 'drifts' a little between the two parties.
Sandy, of course, is still down by her shop. She's taken some time to grab a broom from inside it to sweep the just exterior of it, before setting it down. Voices are still reaching from the tea-shop and she's starting to look that way, perhaps sensing some of the agitation that's brewing.
Rocky chuffs softly, and looks to Cryo. "This One is reminded of the little green birds back home. The ones that would puff up and squack loudly when frighten, but couldn't harm a gnat. Just larger, and with fewer feathers." <draconic>
The overture for peace and calm almost worked...
"Laws? Are you kidding me?" The whitescale sith female gets very loud, an angry roar in her voice. She's in fire with angry scents, "All the Sunblades in the Temple of Daeus couldn't stop Kol, Eclavdran and Salina walzing in whenever they wanted. That's a Vampire, an ArchDuke Demon and a Fae Monarch. I didn't see you fighting them. But any time they're not around all the puffed up heroes of this city are out acting important. When it needs them? No where to be found. We cured the Plague Ooze! Can we have a cup of tea in peace? I'm so sick of scales rotted bullies. You want to prove yourself, go sing 'Eclavdran sucks' in the sewers and tell me how that goes for you, leave us alone. But sure, go ahead, pick up your axe again. That will be provocation enough to turn you into an electric icicle."
"THIS ONE ASKED NICELY. NOW NOT. GO AWAY AND CALM YOUR OWN SELF."
Ronin just studies the white scaled sith. He remains silent as he listens to her tirade. He simply chuckles. "I am calm. It is you and your blue friend which are acting hysterically." He says as he turns his back. Because Ronin is topless they can see the scars on scars, looking like whips and blade cuts along his back. "Watch your temper. Next time I may not be amused." He growls to the woman and returns to his table and begins to polish his axe blade.
Zeke shifts, slowly. Methodically so as to not be threatening. Rises to his feet and places his crystal hand on Cryosanthia's shoulder. It is as if her anger has erased all emotion from the blue-scaled sith. "Leave him be Cryosssanthia. He isss not well." Zeke's green eyes are not kind however, they weigh Ronin like one weighs an enemy. "If you threaten any of usss again ssoftsskin... you will not find thisss one sso kind. Thiss one isss a ssservant of the Dragonfather, and thisss one knowsss many of the scity guard. You have sssaid many thingssss, ass if you mean to provoke usss into attacking you. We will not, but your wordss may well find you in the prissson you do not sseek."
"Angoron's aching thews!" the Golem intones in frustration with a shake of her head as her hand comes away from her waist with a small pouch in her hand, then switches to Trade, 'Please. Calm. Down.' Turi told her there'd be days like this..., 'Enjoy your drinks.' <yrch-speak>
"The hell is going on over there?" asks Sandy. She's starting to maker he way over there to get a cleaner look in the direction. Her ear tips are twitching madlyt.
Ronin looks to Zeke. "This is not threatening. This is me being calm. I dont threaten, I promise." He says as he puts his axe into it's strap before turning to the golem and chuckles. "They arent long for this world. Enjoy their time." He says as he begins to walk out, hands loosely hanging at his sides as he ducks his head under the doorway and begins to walk back down
Rocky finds himself a lime for the on the table, deftly hollows it out into two halves, moving them as a very simple sort of puppet. "Squak-squak! Squak!" A chip on a carrot stick is added to the puppet.
The crystal hand is enough. Cryo has been waiting for Zeke to voluntarily touch her since she got him back from the Tower. The contact wakes her emotional guardian, whose head whips around at the unexpected mess and then starts packing everything in ice. The whitescale feels her tension leave, which happened anyways when her spring snapped, but the worry which has been inching tighter over time is gone. Her cihuaa will be there for her, she doesn't have to keep everything together on her own.
Rocky's little fruit-bird puppet gets a grin and she nods. She didn't even realize how strongly she was snorting her breaths. "Yes. Thank you Zeke, you are right." She smiles at him, just looking in his eyes.
Zeke snorts again at the man, watching him with care as he leaves though the last words he says draw another low growl from his throat. Even so he stays where he is. The man is leaving and that's enough for him. He meets Cryosanthia's eyes and shifts his tail softly back in forth, trying to reassure both her and Rocky that everything is well. The blue-scaled sith sits down and nods to Rocky. "You are quite right Rocky. Here, have sssome tea before it getsss cold." He lifts the tea pot and begins pouring for everyone.
Toha gives another shake of the head and she turns back to the table as the Jotun opts out of the confrontation. That's something, anyway. The antics with the fruit rind make her head cant a little and she remarks, "You'll over-etch your finish if you keep that up too long." in a vaguely puzzled tone. Some of her associates drink in the situations, or shortly after them, anyway. Maybe she should look into that funcionality. She considers the table some, then, "I didn't know about anythin' after the big slime thing." she says quietly. Peace continued, she slips her flash powder back into it's place at her waist and she steps back toward the edge of the patio to call down, "Nothin', just folk almost gon' past words." to Sandy at her question.
Rocky chuffs softly, and looks to Toha, though he does take the lime off his hand. "This One does not etch. Not without very strong bile." The plump purple pixie- I mean elf, gets a look of curiousity as she shouts, but he's seen stranger things today.
Cryosanthia exhales a long cloud of mist. Her tea has gotten exceptionally cold. She tries a new trick which was suggested. A few gestures and her gloves glow, then she warms it back up again. "This is going to be really helpful. Thanks Zeke, Rocky. This one will feel better once she's eaten. Perhaps we can show Rocky the gardens, Zeke, he wanted to see them, although... right. We don't have a Home anymore really, do we?"
"The Temple will not kick usss out, and though it might not be pleasssant it will do until we can find another plasce." Zeke offers warmly to Cryosanthia. "We can take the time to ssshow your nesst-mate around a little, and then return to the temple. Do you have a plasce to stay Rocky?"
Toha shrugs, "I forgot." she replies to Rocky, but, looking between the three Sith as they speak, she thinks this might be as good a time as any to step back. "Enjoy th'rest of yer night!" she offers cheerily, then turns to start to make her way back to the kitchen for her compensation....
"Hi, Toha. Sounds like it's okay," says Sandy, glancing towrads Ronin when he departs. She has no idea what's going on, but she heard SOMETHING. Still, she shrugs her shoulders and puts her broom over her shoulder. She didn't even get to whack anyone with it. Ronin has disconnected.
Rocky nods to Zeke. "Thisss One hasss been sstaying at temple of the DragonFather, but wassss offered ssspace with the Warrior Casste of thisss land, the Collusseum."
Cryo nods to Toha, waving a brief farewell, "You also."
She looks back at Zeke, "I'm sorry, I wasn't sure if it was good or bad for you. I didn't know what to do, I wasn't happy there but there was no where else to go and it was close to the main worship area, I thought hearing it might help. This one is very interested in what you find."
The whitescale turns to look at the granitescale, "The colosseum is a good place! This one has practiced there, and rode a swiftclaw around it."
Zeke nods once to Toha, and then to Cryosanthia. "Thisss one disslikess it, but it isss fine. Thiss one will be well." There's a sort of determination to those words, and Zeke eats a little. They haven't eatten much of the meal what with the interuption, and it wouldn't do to let the food go to waste. "You are welcome to sstay at the temple Rocky, or go where you pleassse. What iss important iss that you are comfortable yesss?"
Toha turns back, raising a hand to wave, then accepts a small bucket of something wet. A little acrid smelling. She then starts on down the stairs and makes her way over to where Sandy is, "How's it going, Sandy?"
Rocky nods, using a bit of the chips and salsa in proper fashion, rather than a puppet. "Thisss One isss ssstill learning optionsss, may change where ssstaysss. May go back to the Village, asss have heard isss a magic way to return ssswiftly."
"To Am'shere?" Cryosanthia looks at Rocky, then bobs her head. "There is a portal to Am'shere in Mictlan. It goes to a fixed spot in the jungle, which is quite a travel from where we grew up. This one was a month with the caravan, slow moving the pack lizards through the jungle. No roads often, we had to hack fast growth away. There might be faster ways. This one has met a few that seem to be able to go anywhere they wish, like stepping through a door."
