Siege on Gnomegedon
The ruined city of Gnomegedon is a sight, ruins buildings, Paladins of Vardema, makeshift tents, more paladins of Vardema, oh and even more paladins of Vardema. Jasper, a ancient wizard who makes dirt look young is gathering the adventurers, "Ok, so the zombies have been sighted come across the hills. This zombie maker means business it seems. We think he is among them, on a rather large zombie is a a skeletal gnome. We are leaving him to you while we keep the rest at bay. Sound good? I am ready for my morning nap."
GAME: Morgan refreshes spells.
Clad in his spiked armor, shield strapped to his arm. Massive scimitar clutched in his other hand. The symbol of holy Kor bedazzled into the chest plate of his armor with shiney rocks and stones. Baz thunks the side of his helmet with the edge of his shield. Making the Ork like skull visage fall into place. "Right." He says. "Get your gear, check yer weapons. We march out and we kill everything till it's deader than dead. 'Cause dead weren't good enough for'em."
Arisha, for her part, has gotten plenty of rest...and has even done a bit of maintenance for her arm while she waited. Once she heard the news though, she looked to Jasper and sighed. "I know you're not here to fight...that's on us. But keep close by. If any of us run in your direction, get them out. Expect the rest of us to be dead and turned. Got it?" She draws her Khopesh and pistol. "I'll be up front with you, Baz. Just fight well."
Razen lets out a broad grin, flashing half of it at Arisha. "I will be there at your side as well." He hefts his heavy mace in hand, the glittering metal proof of it's fine workmanship. "Undead? Let’s take them back to death's door and leave them well on the other side!"
Morgan says a few words in a arcane language that gives her a set of spectral wings that fades away "yes I am ready."
The wait is not long before a massive creature of flesh and bone comes over a hill. On each size are dozens of zombies, along with a few skeletons. Sitting on the left shoulder of the flesh like creature is is a skeletal man wearing some raggity robes, "Ha! My colleges didn't believe me, said, nobody would be dumb enough to set foot in Dragonier, here you are!"

"Right, dere is da enemy!" The big Ork chortles and slaps Arisha on the back. "With the touch of Kor you go into battle protected by his will, bring slaughter to our enemies. Fear not for your life, your flesh and blood. If it tears and spills, then Kor will wait with open arms for ya." Then Baz swings up his big scimitar and moves towards the oncoming battle.
Morgan sees the undead as she says "not good at all." she then holds her hands out and makes a few incants as everyone feels energy that makes the world seem a bit slow.

THEY SING THE SONG OF DEATH! HEAR THIS DIRGE OF DOOM AND DESPAIR! KOR! KOR! KOR!" With each recitation of the name the Ork smashes his scimitar against his shield. Waiting for the Undead horde to attack.
Morgan hovers up in the sky to get a good advantage and lets lose a fireball that destroys a large number and she the says to the group "Do not use your strong spells on the most of them here, I don't think this is the main group of them."

The Zombie Maker just continues to gloat, "That the best you got? Should've not bought something so big? Or are you scared and holding back?" Then with a wave of his hand shoots a bunch of missiles out at Baz. The flesh thing turns and slams into Razen a couple of times, as he is the most convenient target.

Razen isn't one to let a few hits get him down, particularly not when someone's there to lend a hand - and a healing one at that. He flashes Deak a grin and lifts his flail to attack again as he did before. With a glorious roar and a double-handed swing!
GAME: Astaren rolls 1d20+14: (11)+14: 25 GAME: Astaren rolls 2d8+7: (5)+7: 12
The Zombie Maker glares at Morgan, "Why you! I will get you for that, and your orc to!" waving his hand and throwing a volley of missiles at Morgan, "Oh wait... I should of fixed that slow." This guy is clearly not the smartest in Heths army of undead. The golem continues to pound away at Razen, the slow making it only able to get one attack in.
Arisha shakes her head at the Golem, but she does hear Morgan's words. "Excellent idea." And her gun turns to turn red from the fire that is now in the barrel.

Seeking an opening the big Ork lances in, slamming his shield on the flesh golem's foot and driving his scimitar up towards it's knee. The strike is almost perfect, just a few inches off at the end keeping it from being devastating. Still the long curved blade slices into the flesh and bone. "WAAAAAGGH!"
Morgan looks to the one that cast magic missiles at her "Dick." is all she says towards him as a blue shield invelops around her.
The zombie maker squeals like a girl the moment the spiritual weapon and rubs his arm, "Hey your not supposed to be winning!" glancing to the golem he frowns, "err not supposed to be winning." Then with a wave of his hand a poof, he is gone dimension dooring away! The zombie maker is running away it seems.

GAME: Baz da Ork rolls 3d8+6: (7)+6: 13 GAME: Baz da Ork casts Magic Vestment. Caster Level: 6 DC: 16
Morgan looks to the flesh golem that is dead "Yes you guys rock."
The absolution makes short work of the zombies, the normally stoic paladins actually have smiles on their faces. Jasper is woken up from his nap, feet away from Arisha it turns out. "Huh wah, done already?"
As the giant creature goes down Baz gives a roar of victory. Swinging his gore splattered scimitar in the air. Then he stomps over towards Razen and claps him on the shoulder, willing the celestial might of Kor to heal the barbarian a small amount. "We win, we triumph! Blood for the Blood God!" The Ork chortles and laughs then looks around. "Looks like da leader scampered. Wot say we go kills him, anyone know were he went? Or maybe we go kill anything else!"
"Yeah. the leader bitched out." Arisha looks to Jasper. "We proved too strong for his ultimate creation."
Morgan shakes her head as she lands on the ground "No he was testing us, he will have more and better golems... I so hate golems like that."
Razen grins tootily at Baz's suggestion. His head still bleeding freely from the blow he took. It's looking like it's going to be a real doozy. "I think that a fine idea! Let’s hunt that sha-spellcaster down before he makes some other fell magic!"
